The cost per lesson is R150 and a lesson is between 30 and 55 minutes long.
We recommend one lesson per week since the students need to practice for at least an hour per day for a week before they’ll be ready for the next lesson. If a student progresses quicker than usual, additional lessons per week will be considered.
Beginner lessons are one-on-one so the students get the undivided attention they need to be able to make the quickest progress possible. Group lessons will be considered for intermediate students. The maximum size of the group will be determined by the learning ability of the students involved (20% discount on group lessons).
We do not follow a set syllabus but rather concentrate on the individual student’s goals. Making music should be enjoyed and many students just want to be able to play an instrument without having to learn theory. We don’t force students to learn theory but theory lessons are available on request.
A student who is interested in theory may book additional lessons for theory as not to deprive them of their practical lessons.
